QUESTIONS &
ANSWERS
Can you describe your proudest moment as a manager?
The proudest moment of my management career was when one of my direct reports expressed interest in becoming a manager and with some guidance was able to get promoted. Once he was promoted, I was selected to be his mentor to help kickstart his new management career.

What inspired you to become a people manager?
I had several great managers that inspired me. After watching them for a number of years it became clear to me that I wanted to help other engineers grow their careers and improve their skills.

What is your ideal company size?
I enjoy companies of all sizes, but what I really enjoy is the large company backing, but the small company feel.

Are you a hands on manager?
Yes. I enjoy architecture and design very much and facilitate any questions on those topics in addition to helping and mentoring my direct reports to understand the technology behind the requirements and features. I also enjoy interacting with other teams, in particular Product Management, Program Management, QA management and the documentation team.
